TRAngels is one of Turkey's pioneering angel investment networks, established in 2014 as TRANGELS Finansal Hizmetler A.Ş. by a group of experienced investors and entrepreneurs who hold official angel investor certificates. Operating as a multi-partner investment company with equal partnership rights among founders, TRAngels was created to enhance Turkey's visibility and recognition in both developed and emerging markets as a hub for innovation and entrepreneurship. Accredited by the Turkish Treasury (now Ministry of Treasury and Finance), TRAngels brings together investors from diverse professional backgrounds and industries—each contributing unique expertise in business management and entrepreneurship. The network operates with corporate governance principles and ethical standards, enabling fast and objective decision-making processes while connecting promising early-stage technology startups with experienced angel investors who provide not just capital, but also mentorship, business acumen, and valuable network connections.

TRAngels focuses exclusively on early-stage technology startups across multiple sectors including energy, biotechnology, medical technology, artificial intelligence, and cloud and mobile solutions. The network's mission is to multiply successful entrepreneurship stories written in Turkey and spread globally, while contributing to sustainable and impactful business models that address real-world problems. Through partnerships with innovation ecosystem stakeholders such as ARI Teknokent at Istanbul Technical University, TRAngels has invested in numerous ventures including Batron Arge (battery management systems in collaboration with ERBAN), and maintains active involvement in Turkey's startup ecosystem through participation in panels, events, and industry conferences. The network evaluates project ideas submitted through platforms like GUST or direct applications, assessing market potential, team compatibility, and scalability to support entrepreneurs in transforming their visions into viable businesses that can operate independently without continuous support.
