ŞirketOrtağım is one of Turkey's first accredited angel investor networks, established in 2013 and officially accredited by the Treasury (now Ministry of Treasury and Finance) in June 2014 under the Individual Participation Capital (BKS) legislation. Founded by six experienced business leaders—Mehmet Buldurgan (Network President), Akın Kozanoğlu (Board Chairman), Sedef Korkmaz, Hasan Pehlivan, Dursun Akbulut, and Hasan Ulusoy—the network brings together decades of combined expertise from leading Turkish corporations including Sabancı Holding, Akbank, Temsa, and Eczacıbaşı. ŞirketOrtağım operates with a clear mission: to connect high-potential innovative ventures with experienced angel investors, providing not just capital but also smart money through knowledge transfer, business experience, and valuable network connections. The organization facilitates tax exemption benefits for licensed angel investors (BKY) under Turkish legislation, making it an attractive platform for both investors and entrepreneurs.

ŞirketOrtağım differentiates itself through its comprehensive approach to angel investing, offering investment amounts ranging from 1 million to 5 million TL to startups that have moved beyond the idea stage to commercialization and demonstrate rapid growth potential. The network is sector-agnostic, evaluating innovative ventures across all industries that show at least 3x value growth potential within three years. Through bi-monthly investor-entrepreneur meetings held regularly, ŞirketOrtağım brings together its growing community of licensed angel investors with carefully selected startups, facilitating transparent deal flow and investment processes. In December 2025, the network achieved a significant milestone by becoming a member of the European Business Angel Network (EBAN), opening doors for Turkish investors and entrepreneurs to access international collaboration opportunities and cross-border investments across 50+ countries with over 150 investment networks. Recent investments include innovative startups like OKUT (dyslexia education platform) and Meetgate (HR digitalization platform), demonstrating the network's commitment to supporting ventures that create meaningful societal impact.
