ISO ETP

Istanbul Chamber of Industry Industrial Design and Prototyping Inc. (ISO ETP) is an advanced industrial design, modeling, and prototyping center fully owned by the Istanbul Chamber of Industry, officially launched on October 15, 2022. Established within the scope of the IDEA4ISTANBUL – Istanbul Industrial Design Ecosystem Axis project, the center provides comprehensive “idea-to-product” support for manufacturers, entrepreneurs, and designers. Equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories, high-end prototyping technologies (such as 3D printers and 3D scanners), user experience (UX) testing facilities, and virtual / augmented reality infrastructure, ISO ETP aims to strengthen product development capabilities and innovation capacity within the industrial ecosystem. The center delivers value-added services including industrial design consultancy, intellectual property guidance, design validation, and functional prototyping.

ISO ETP also plays a key role in ecosystem building by organizing applied training programs, entrepreneurship initiatives, matchmaking activities, and sector-focused events that connect industrial companies with designers and innovators. Through its ISO ETP Entrepreneurship Program, the center offers design- and prototyping-oriented startup support models, enabling collaborative development between designers and industrial firms. In cooperation with strategic partners such as Istanbul Technical University (ITU), Istanbul Development Agency (ISTKA), and professional design organizations, ISO ETP strengthens industry-academia collaboration while contributing to the development of qualified human capital and high-value industrial innovation.
