212 NexT is a venture capital investment fund launched in 2023 that focuses on seed to Series A (and up to Series B) investments in advanced materials and deep technology startups with global potential. The fund targets disruptive innovations in areas such as novel materials, biomaterials, catalysts, energy efficiency, sustainability, AI‑driven materials discovery, and other technologies that can transform global value chains. Its target fund size is around €30 million with typical deal sizes between $500 K–$1 M and it is domiciled in Luxembourg with a global investment focus. 

Launched with backing from industrial partners like Akkök Next, 212 NexT aims to fill a strategic niche in deep tech and materials innovation, supporting early‑stage ventures that address pressing challenges in sectors such as energy, automotive, construction, biomedical, and sustainability. It complements 212’s broader VC activity by expanding into vertical, technology‑intensive domains beyond traditional software and B2B tech investments.
